Brief History

Originally established in 2017 as a private practice serving clients utilizing the healing power of equine therapy, Windstone Wellness Center has expanded and evolved to now include a multitude of practitioners who specialize in traditional and holistic therapies.  The name “Windstone” came about by combining the last name of Dr. Leslie “Wind” who served as a social work professor, mentor, and dear friend, and “Stone” because she was the rock to support the owner’s ongoing personal and professional development.  Dr. Wind lost her battle with cancer in 2021.  Windstone Wellness Center is dedicated to embracing and applying the treatment philosophies that Dr. Wind embodied so that future generations can achieve overall physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
